Jo's Co #5

Pensavam que ia passar o mês de Setembro sem o post da rúbrica “Jo’s Co”? Naaaaaa, eu não me esqueci! A verdade é que Setembro é sempre um mês de recomeços, e enquanto voltamos a reorganizar toda a nossa rotina com novas metas e prioridades, o tempo parece que voa… E a Companhia que vos trago hoje não podia ilustrar de melhor maneira o que acabei de referir acima! (refiro-me às metas e prioridades…)
Conheço a Rita desde sempre! É daquelas pessoas que não o sendo na verdade, é como se fosse da família! E sabem quando há pessoas que têm um sonho e não desistem dele? Essas pessoas são como a Rita!! Ela sempre quis fazer voluntariado, e há uns meses, quando ouvi este programa do Maluco Beleza lembrei-me logo da Rita. (e confesso que fiquei com medo que também ela não quisesse voltar!) Se a conhecessem como conheço saberiam também que este sonho acabaria por se tornar realidade! Em Julho embarcou naquela que provavelmente será a maior aventura da sua vida! Deixou o trabalho em stand-by e partiu rumo a Angola para um mês e meio de voluntariado. Ela foi, chegou com a certeza de querer voltar, com a mala vazia mas em contrapartida cheia de tantas outras coisas! É incrível como há experiências que nos mudam, e essencialmente mudam a forma como encaramos o mundo à nossa volta. Tenho para mim que a Rita recebeu muito mais do que aquilo que deu ali, a tantos quilómetros de distância de casa! E que bom é ter pessoas inspiradoras junto de nós! Rita, gostamos muito de ti!!!!

Did you think that it would be the month of September without the post of the rubric "Jo's Co"? Noooooo, I haven't forgotten! The truth is that September is always a month of resumption, and as we re-organize our whole routine with new goals and priorities, time seems to fly... And the Company that I bring you today couldn't better illustrate what I just refer above! (I'm referring to the goals and priorities...)
I've known Rita since ever! It's those people who are not actually family, but it's like it is! And do you know when there are people who have a dream and don't give up on it? These people are like Rita!! She always wanted to do volunteer work, and a few months ago, when I heard this program, I was reminded of Rita. (and I confess that I was afraid that she didn't want to come back too!) If you knew her as I do, you would know that this dream would finally come true! In July he embarked on what will probably be the greatest adventure of his life! He left the job in stand-by and left for Angola for a month and a half of volunteering. She went, arrived with the certainty of wanting to return, with the empty bag but in counterpart full of so many other things! It's amazing how there are experiences that change us, and they essentially change the way we view the world around us. I have for myself that Rita received much more than what she gave there, so many miles away from home! And it's good to have inspiring people next to us! Rita, we really like you!!!!

Paper bag

Espero bem que as paper bag pants continuem a ser tendência nas próximas estações, pelo menos que continuem a pairar pelas lojas. Adoro estas em bege, que apesar de terem saído de uma colecção de outono/inverno, ficam igualmente bem em looks de verão também! Como têm a cintura bem subida adoro usa-las assim, com t-shirts ou camisas caçadas! Por isso é bem provável que voltem a vê-las por aqui em looks no próximo outono. Por enquanto, sempre que os dias ainda forem amenos, gosto de usa-las assim, com sandálias, ou melhor, com estes chinelos que “roubei” à minha mãe. Confesso que não achava esta tendência dos chinelos muito apelativa, mas quando calcei estes que a minha mãe comprou não podia ter ficado mais arrependida de não ter procurado um modelito parecido para mim nos saldos. Isto é tão confortável, a sério! Não estivesse o verão a acabar e íamos ter aqui um caso sério de amor…

I hope this paper bag pants continue to be a trend in the coming seasons, at least hope  they continue to hover around the shops. I love these beige ones, which although have come out of a fall/winter collection, look equally great in summer looks too! As they have a well-raised waist I love wearing them like that, with t-shirts or hunted shirts! So it's very likely that you can see them again here in some of my looks next fall. For now, whenever the days are still hot, I like to wear them like that with sandals, or rather, with these slippers that I "stole" from my mom. I confess I don't find this trend of slippers very appealing, but when I fit the ones my mother bought, I couldn't have been more sorry that I had not looked for a similar pair of this shoes for me in the sales season. This is so comfortable, seriously! If the summer is not endding now, we were going to have a serious case of love here...

Corset

De todas as tendências que surgiram na última estação, esta dos espartilhos é a minha preferida. Pelo menos a avaliar pelas peças que comprei com estes ilhoses e fitas! Foram três. A camisola do último post, umas calças de algodão bege e este vestido. Não foi a compra mais barata dos saldos, mas estava a precisar de um vestidinho assim de algodão para usar na praia! E branco, hummmm, mesmo a calhar!! Não sei quanto a vós, mas eu gosto imenso de roupa branca no verão. Bem sei que é super cliché mas acho mesmo bonito. Então se já tiver a pele bronzeada melhor ainda! No dia de regresso das férias voltei a usar este vestido, podem ver aqui. E verão é bem isto, looks descontraídos mas compostos e sempre, mas sempre super confortáveis!
Ps.: Verão, podes ficar mais uns dias, eu cá não me importo nada!! Enquanto isso este queridinho dava mais umas voltas por aí!

Of all the trends that have emerged in the last season, this one of the corsets is my favorite. At least evaluate for the pieces I bought with these eyelets and ribbons! There were three of them. The t-shirt from the last post, a pair of beige cotton pants and this dress. It wasn't the cheapest purchase of the sales, but I was in need of a cotton dress to wear on the beach! And white, hummmm, even in handy!! I don't know about you, but I really like white clothes in the summer. I know it's super cliche but I think it's really cute. So if you already have tanned skin better yet! On the day of the return of the holidays I returned to wear this dress, you can see here. And summer is really this, relaxed outfits but composed and always, but always super comfortable!
Ps .: Summer, you can stay a few more days, I don't care at all !! In the meantime, this little darling could have some more rounds!
